After another long period without updating, I would formally like to apoligize. School has been crazy lately, so I'm not having much time to make some new graphics. But, despite homework and such, I've managed to get some newly made graphics to you!
Also, Claire has put up some AMAZING Swichfoot photos! Check them out HERE!

SITE NEWS -
As some of you may know, this is only our second week that Abundant Skies has been on the web. Calls for a celebration, doesn't it? We're starting the party by bringing you our 10th update of Switchfoot graphics. More and more concert pics are pouring into our e-mail, and we want you to keep it up! We love getting new images. Remember, if you would like to send in a Switchfoot picture (whether it is yours or not) to get made into graphics, please e-mail us. We might not use all pictures we recieve, but there's a good chance your pic will be used for graphics.

GRAPHICS -
Our 10th update is a record breaking one with 43 AVATARS! Can you believe it! We just got so caught up in the graphic-making mood we went above and beyond. It's probably a good thing, because all these avatars make up for the last rather small update and the lack of updates lately. Sorry, there has been just a lot going on with school and church activities. It's hard to find time to make graphics, ya'know?

Abundant Skies is recently featured on Land Of Broken Hearts! Our good friend, Jeanna, from the site asked me if I would like to feature one of my graphics each week along with the photo and video of the week. I immediately was on board. You can check out the graphic of the week in LOBH's latest update.
Also, we would LOVE to hear from you! You can contact us HERE. Leave a suggestion, compliment, basic comment, anything! Also, we encourage you to send in your own graphic work. Next week we are going to start a new section called 'Featured Graphics', which feature graphics made from visitors of the site. Please e-mail us with the graphic you would like to be featured.

GRAPHICS -
After the big load of graphics I created from the previous post, I wanted to take it easy and make some random graphics of Jon Foreman. Sorry there's not that many, but folks got to take a break once in a while! However, I'm very proud of the last signature in today's post. It took a lot of work cutting out the Switchfoot symbols and then placing an image behind it. Please tell me what you think!

SITE NEWS -
The entries have been made, the judging has took place, and now it's finally time to announce the new staff memeber for Abundant Skies. Out of 10 entrants who participated, I decided to choose Claire for a staff member. Her graphics are flawless and detailed, and she has a great personality. You can see the first graphics she made for Abundant Skies HERE.
Also, Claire and I are working on a new Switchfoot fansite. We're not sure on all the details yet, but the main idea behind the new site is to make a Switchfoot music blog. We'll post rare recordings, remixes, basically any Switchfoot song out there. More info on that to come!

GRAPHICS -
Along with Claire's album (link above), I did some serious work on SF concert pics - especially with one photographer in the spotlight - susieq3c. She's my all time favorite Switchfoot photographer, and it was an honor to make graphics out of her work. Also, we're up to 130 avatars and 50 signatures. How cool is that?!

In attempt to attract more traffic to the site, Abundant Skies is going to be applying for affiliates to some Switchfoot fansite. If you run a SF fansite and would like to affiliate yours with Abundant Skies, please send an e-mail. Also, there is some VERY exciting site news! We are going to start a WEEKLY PRIZE GIVEAWAY, which includes 20 avatars and 5 signatures courtesy of Abundant Skies. All you have to do is send an e-mail to us with a rad switchfoot picture (it doesn't matter if you took it or not) and whoever sends in the best picture wins the prize! We'll make these graphics out of picture that you have; so pick a photo that you would want graphics made out of.

Abundant Skies has been chosen to be a top affiliate for our favorite Switchfoot fansite, Land Of Broken Hearts!
In other site news, staff applicants have been pouring in. I've now decided to stop accepting applications and decide within the people who already entered. Whoever I choose will be elected to be a 'Graphic Donor', which mean they e-mail graphics to me on a regular basis and I post their graphics on Abundant Skies.
Last piece of site news - thanks to all of you wonderful folks, Abundant Skies has reached 5,000 views already! Keep in mind that Abundant Skies has only been open for 4 days. That must be some sort of record!

GRAPHICS -
The LOBH webmaster, Jeanna, posted some newly edited photos, so I quickly opened up photoshop to make some graphics with her amazing photos! Her pictures are so clear and vibrant; I hardly had to do anything with the colors to make it look like what I wanted.

More avatars are made! Along with a new header, layout, tagboard, slideshow, and MORE. Abundant Skies is growing wildly. Even though it's just our second day, the website is already pulling together quite nicely and soon we'll be adding affilliates!

a new switchfoot fansite is up!

This site will be a dedication to Switchfoot and all their talent. I'll be posting graphic art (avatars, wallpapers, etc.) and I plan on opening up a submissions feature later on. But for right now, I'll just get some graphics up so you all could get a feel of my graphics.
